Bleached Palms- I Miss You

Completely entranced by the San Francisco based band Bleached Palms, made up of Troy Neubarth, Phil Agrusa and John Symes. I’d start adding this track to your summer playlists. It has the very cool, lo-fi indie sound that compliments the mellowness of summer. It is a free download, no excuse not to snatch it up. If you want to hear other tracks from the band, you can access their SoundCloud or Bandcamp!

RAC- Perfect World Mix (Gossip Original)

I often find that their is always a track to share if it comes from RAC. Anjos’ remix of “Perfect World”, by Gossip, is yet another great mix by the artist. Always a pleasure to listen to.

The Lumineers- Classy Girls Demo

Here is the second track of the debut album The Lumineers titled “Classy Girls”. Sharing one track just didn’t seem appropriate. So goooood. Enjoy!

The Lumineers- Flowers In Your Hair

With so many new ablum releases and debut albums out, I would have to say that The Lumineers debut album has become a favorite of mine. The band is made up of three artists,  Wesley, Jeremiah and Neyla, based out of Denver. I think I was instantly connected to their music because of the instruments they utilize in their work, like the cello and piano. I also fell in love with the band’s synergy of folk, rock, pop and gospel. For those of you that are fans of artists like Bon Iver, Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan, Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes, etc. I suspect you will fall mighty fond of The Lumineers. So with that, I will leave you with the first track of their album The Lumineers. I also will be sharing a demo track of “Classy Girls”, the second track off the debut album. Share your thoughts on the tracks!

French Wives- Sleep Tight

I am sending a big Cheers to French Wives for the release of their debut album Dream of the Inbetween. The last time we talked with the group, they had mentioned being in the works on the creation of this album. So great to see it all together! I chose to go with the 6th track on the album titled “Sleep Tight”. I think it may be next in line as a favorite of mine, though “Halloween” is still on top. This release is an exciting one, and I hope you all get yourselves a copy!

Sonny & The Sunsets- Pretend You Love Me

If you follow Sonny & The Sunsets on Facebook, you will have likely caught wind of their new album, Longtime Companion, out June 26th! This track is beyond. A very classic sound, something I suspect my parents would have been listening to in their 20 somethings had it been around. I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the tracks from the album.

Otis Rush-Me

So, I just now came upon the new audio feature where you can search for tracks. Interesting. Anywho, it is 85 degrees here in San Diego and no cloud in the sky. I am listening to some classics, Otis happens to be one. Happy days to all, wishing you well!

Lower Dens- I Get Nervous

It certainly is not my best of days, but listening to this song is making me feel like I’m still in touch with my soul. This  is the 5th track from the band’s 2010 album Twin-Hand Movement. The album was loaded with great tracks however, this track in particular has been far more telling.

The Decemberists- Think About Me (Fleetwood Mac Original)

Always enjoying covers, I went with this one by The Decemberists. It is an older cover that you can get off the album Bridging The Distance. It suits this fresh new morning!

The Veils- Sit Down By The Fire

Slowly dying from the plague or something. In the mean time, I have been listening to The Veils. Regaining my power and energy. Planning on a celebratory hike this weekend, with this band playing in my ear.

Kings of Leon- Pyro

Spending my Saturday night in bed. I don’t listen to Kings of Leon very often. It is refreshing to hear though. They’re incredible artists, and I recommend seeing them live.

Teen Daze- Brooklyn Sunburn

Yet another incredible Canadian artist to share today. It was hard to pick a track to share from Teen Daze, but I went with the first single, “Brooklyn Sunburn”, from their debut LP All Of Us, Together (comes out May 22nd!). I have ample amounts of love for this artist and am looking forward to the rest of the LP. If you want to here more of Teen Daze’s work check out Bandcamp or SoundCloud (features more remixes).
